Released by Elextronic Arts in 1993, Space Hulk was set in the Warhammer 40k universe and as you can see from the opening screen heavily sponsored by GW.
The game was played from a FPS perspective but was team based. You control a group of Space Marines in a series of mission moving through a derelict ship. You can see each marines view through cameras and you have an overhead map. It is also possible to switch to an overhead view to see where all your marines are.
An interesting feature is the ability to freeze the action whilst you check what your other marines are doing and give orders. However you get only a limited number of 'freeze' seconds in any particular mission; so it is not like pausing and going to make a coffee!
