This is actually Bratus' strongest weapon and given it's low mana usage should be used in preference to Quietus unless there are lots monsters bunched together. It fires projectiles that do serious damage for little mana and at longer range it sends out phantoms as well which do blast damage. However it is very slow so don't use it as a melee weapon.
